In Falsus Demo Changelog
What lowiro added to the Steam preview before September 9.
The In Falsus demo is a living preview, not a frozen trailer. Three public Steam posts matter: 0.2.0, the 0.2.1 stability drop, and 0.3.0. If your Steam client is behind, update it before you follow any guide on this wiki that mentions hex grids or a sixth song.
0.2.0 — February 11, 2026
Steam news: a playable demo with five songs — including three originals — and a first look at the tale that brings the protagonists together. Official reminder in the same post: the title is in progress; the demo is a glimpse.
Playable songs commonly listed for this build:
- Cryogenic — Camellia ft. Petra Gurin
- Hyaloüyne — ak+q
- Ordirehv — Feryquitous
- à la mode — aran
- Ghost Ray — Qlarabelle & crayvxn
Difficulties per song: MIN, EVO, ULT, with FBD locked. Scenario: first greeting, not a full route. Steam Next Fest 2026 used this demo as the booth/playable.
Player pain in this version was almost entirely controls. Six Floor keys plus mouse Field, even when MIN only asks for four. That feedback is why this wiki’s controls page exists.
0.2.1 — February 13, 2026
Steam news title: In Falsus Demo v0.2.1 Update & Dev Comments. lowiro thanked demo players, said the rhythm experience could feel challenging, and shipped the first stability drop two days after 0.2.0.
Named fixes:
- Soft-lock at the end of play / songs that would not finish
- Lingering background audio after quitting Scenario
- Results scene failing to load
- Pause countdowns overlapping
- Language and font issues on Korean OS settings
- Crashes and other soft-locks
- Monitor resolution detection
- Save-data writes
- Scenario memory use
- Audio device setup
If your demo still freezes on Results, you are probably not on 0.2.1. Details and what to click in Settings live on settings and fixes. This was a repair drop, not a new song.
0.3.0 — April 22, 2026
Steam news headline: new song, voiced Scenario entries, and an early look at Card Integration and Encounters.
Documented additions:
- Two new voiced Scenario entries (community notes: Mei- and Iris-centred).
- One new playable song: Deep Into The Vibe — rejection.
- Playable Card Integration: Iota, Blueprints, Integrate, penalties.
- Encounter gameplay preview, including the dual-score HUD.
If you last played in February and you have not seen a hex grid, you are not on 0.3.0. Update. Then read card integration and encounters so the new UI is not a second tutorial wall.
What did not change
- Still a demo. Still not 70 songs.
- Still single-player.
- Still no public promise that demo saves import on September 9.
- Still no FBD unlock in the captures we have.
- Still Japanese voices with EN/JA/ZH subtitles depending on your language pick.
How to check your build
Steam’s game properties and news hub are the source. If a friend sends a screenshot of “Mei: 4AM” on a Blueprint, that is 0.3.0-or-later art. If they only have five songs and no card lab, they are on the February slice.
After 0.3.0
As of this writing, the next dated event is the full launch on September 9, 2026, plus a TGS booth the following week. If lowiro ships a 0.4.0 demo, it will be appended here with a date. We will not invent a 0.4.0 to look busy.
Play notes for the current preview belong in the demo walkthrough. This page is the version history, not the how-to.
If a YouTube video is titled as a full-game walkthrough but the song list is the five-plus-one demo set, it is a demo video. Label it that way in your head, then use getting started instead of a 40-minute VOD.
What to play after each patch
0.2.0 players should have finished every MIN on the five-song list and one EVO on a jacket they already understood. That is the whole homework. 0.3.0 players add one more song, one more pair of voiced scenes, and a single Integrate on a Blueprint so Iota is not a mystery word. Do not restart the demo from zero unless your save is corrupt. Do not wait for a 0.4.0 rumor before learning flicks.
If 0.3.0’s hex lab is the only reason you updated, read card integration once, place two pieces, and go back to charts. The changelog is a version list. The playfield is still the product. Launch on September 9 will replace this preview, not grade your demo completionist badge.
