In Falsus Nia Cana
"If you can be happy, why wouldn't you be?"
Nia Cana is the easiest official face to start with. The store screenshot that most players see first is her character panel: short white-and-pink hair, red eyes, jacket over a torn street look, SELECT in the corner, and four other girls waiting as silhouettes. She is 16, enrolled at Akie High School, and lives with her parents.
Official voice
Quote, from lowiro’s site:
I don’t want to think about it, about bad stuff, about the future… I-I mean— If you can be happy, why wouldn’t you be?
Comment, also official, in the observer’s file-tone:
Living with her parents. Nervous. Very nervous. A regular sort of adolescent these days. Her interests are ordinary for a lonely girl as well. Friendless.
Voice actor: Fuka Izumi (和泉風花).
That is the entire public bio. Anything beyond it is inference or a spoiler. This page stays inside that fence and the demo UI.
What the select screen adds
Nia’s panel lists Spectral Skills (Infusion) and Core Skills (Expanded Iota Limit, shown at level 03 in the capture) plus a row of General Skills. The in-world clock on that UI reads a date in month 8, day 27, year 10277, noon. Those skills are why Nia is a good first pick for players who also want to understand Iota cards: her Core Skill is literally about the resource the hex grid spends.
She is not a healer class. She is a protagonist whose kit happens to mention Iota Limit. Play her like a person.
How she sits beside the others
Nia and Mei Alder share Akie High School. Classroom VN art puts them in the same sunlit room, both wearing Binds, Nia covering her face, Mei smiling like she is not covering anything. If you want the “everyday school” tone before Iris’s violence or Story’s silence, this pair is the door.
Ayame Takatsuki will know if you lie — trailer line, not a Nia exclusive. Iris Leal is the one who comments on Bind color like it is interesting. Story Étienne is the Mute who opted out of that entire social broadcast. Nia is the one who still wants the broadcast to say she is fine.
Playing Nia in the demo
- Select her icon on the five-girl bar.
- Let the first voiced lines play. Japanese audio, your subtitles.
- When an Encounter hits, keep MIN. Nia’s route is not easier charts; MIN is your mercy, not hers.
- If her Expanded Iota Limit is available in the build you own, Integrate one Blueprint after the session so the skill name becomes a verb. Then stop.
Do not search “Nia true ending.” The game has not launched. Use the Scenario guide for Bind and Shroud vocabulary instead.
Visual tells
In key art she is the white-haired girl with pink tips, often on the fractured left of the library hero. In the street-select pose she looks mid-step, jacket open, Bind not hidden. In the classroom she is the one peeking through fingers. If a thumbnail shows a calm dark-haired girl at a mixer, that is Mei, not Nia.
Who should main Nia first
Players who want a nervous, ordinary-interest entry into a surveillance world. Players who found Arcaea’s story easier when it started small. Players who need a reason to open the card lab because a Core Skill already named Iota Limit is sitting on the UI.
If you bounce off her hesitation, try Mei next — same school, colder affect, better music jokes. If you want the opposite of nervous, skip to Iris. The character hub has the full menu.
Nia’s page ends here on purpose. The rest of her government-program future is September 9’s job, not a wiki’s.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for demo players and launch-week questions.
Is Nia the main character?
She is one of five playable perspectives. Marketing often leads with her face; the structure is still multi-route.
Who voices Nia?
Fuka Izumi (和泉風花), per the official site.
Does Expanded Iota Limit make her the 'card character'?
It ties her panel to the card system. It does not skip rhythm skill.
Nia or Mei for a first demo run?
Nia for the nervous everyday tone. Mei if you want the performer who refuses to call music her whole self. They share a school.
