In Falsus Story and Scenario
Five girls, one collared world, no launch endings on this page.
In Falsus is an ADV with rhythm Encounters, not a song pack with a prologue. Official site line: a long shadow falls over the world and the people collared beneath it; under an unseen gaze, no emotion nor falsehood goes unnoticed. This page stays spoiler-light on purpose. You will get structure, vocabulary, and demo-safe context. You will not get route endings, the government program’s punchline, or a fake chapter list invented to look complete.
If you want biographies, use the character hub. If you want the fights that interrupt the novel, use encounters.
The pitch, in official words
Five high-school girls live in a near-future world. They are bid to join a strange government program. Their lives kink, and they are forced to face an undiscovered side of reality. You may play their perspectives separately; the routes intertwine. Full Japanese voice acting ships with the product. Interface languages on Steam are English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.
The Latin title is the thesis. Falsus is false, wrong, deceitful. The game is about truth that cannot hide, including the truth you would rather not say.
Binds, collars, and visible feeling
Everyone wears a device at the neck. Official and store copy agree: collars display emotion and deceit. Trailer dialogue even jokes about color leaking from a Bind. Covering it with a scarf is the kind of forum idea the in-world comment section already mocks. The Bind is not a fashion choker. It is the world’s lie detector, always on.
That is why VN shots of Nia and Mei in a sunlit classroom still show the black bands. The everyday scene is already surveilled.
The Shroud and the sky
The official site names an enigmatic Shroud above a world bound to truth. World copy talks about Aulveld, Amachi as a cultural nexus by a River of Heaven, arks, doldrums, and a calendar that in-game UI renders around year 10277. You do not need to memorize the lore dump to play the demo. You need to notice that the sky is not empty decoration. When characters talk about the sky opening, they are talking about the Shroud’s weather, not a metaphor from a different genre.
Five perspectives, not a party of five
You do not control a squad. You switch protagonists:
- Nia Cana — Akie High School, lives with parents, nervous, wants happiness without looking at the future.
- Mei Alder — same school, lives alone, performs because she has to, would rather discuss film.
- Ayame Takatsuki — Amachi Institute of Art & Design, sociable painter, lives in dorms.
- Iris Leal — Oskar Beck High School, violent, lives with parents and a younger sister.
- Story Étienne — Xenia Academy, overseas transfer, voracious reader, a Mute by choice.
A Mute, in the official comment on Story, is someone who opted out of the Bind’s social broadcast around the time she transferred. That is a plot device, not a difficulty setting.
Supporting names already circulating around the wiki community include Freya, Touko, Aria, Lynn, and Raine. They are not playable protagonists. Do not wait for a sixth route that has not been announced as playable.
How Scenario and music share a timeline
Visual-novel scenes play with Japanese voice and your subtitle language. Then an Encounter song fires because the conversation became a contest or a rescue. Then you return to text. Skipping the chart is skipping the scene. Skipping all text to “get to the bangers” is skipping the product.
Demo 0.3.0 added extra voiced scenes for Mei and Iris. That is still a sample. Launch is the long novel. Keep expectations at demo walkthrough scale until September 9.
How to play the story without spoiling yourself
- Pick one girl on character select and stay with her for a session.
- Do not search route guides for a game that has not launched.
- When an Encounter hits, play it on MIN the first time so you can hear the song as dialogue.
- After the demo, stop. The rest of the government program is launch content.
If you need a mechanical break, the guides hub and tier list are spoiler-free. If you need official media, use links. This page will grow after September 9 with chapter structure, not with stolen ending dumps.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for demo players and launch-week questions.
Can I play the five routes in any order?
Official copy says paths can be selected and played through freely and still intertwine. The demo only samples that promise.
What is a Mute?
Story Étienne's official comment says she chose to be a Mute around her transfer. It is a Bind-related status, not a class.
Is the story fully voiced?
Launch is promised with full Japanese voice acting for appearing characters. The demo already voices its sample scenes.
Will this wiki post ending spoilers on launch day?
Character bios stay official-text first. Any later walkthroughs will be labelled. Use updates for patch-sized news.
