In Falsus Characters
Five playable perspectives, official comments, and who to start with in the demo.
In Falsus is built around five high-school girls whose routes can be selected freely and still knot together. This hub collects the official bios, schools, and voice actors so you can pick a first perspective without opening a spoiler thread. Each child page quotes lowiro’s site, not a fan ending.
The character select screen in the demo already shows all five icons in a row: Nia, Mei, Ayame, Iris, Story. Skills on that panel (Spectral, Core, General) belong to the card-and-Encounter layer. They are not MOBA roles.
The five protagonists
- Nia Cana — Akie High School, 16, lives with her parents. Nervous. Wants happiness without staring at the future. CV: Fuka Izumi (和泉風花).
- Mei Alder — Akie High School, 16, lives alone in a two-story maisonette and pays her own bills. Performs because she has to. CV: Ran Haruka (春花らん).
- Ayame Takatsuki — Amachi Institute of Art & Design, 16, dorms, awarded painter, actually has friends. CV: Kanon Amane (天希かのん).
- Iris Leal — Oskar Beck High School, 16, lives with parents and a younger sister. Charming and violent. CV: Ayame Fujikami (藤上あやめ).
- Story Étienne — Xenia Academy, 16, overseas transfer, Mute by choice, reads obsessively. CV: Mirii Saito (齊藤未莉依).
If you only have one demo evening, start with Nia or Mei. They share a school, they share classroom screenshots, and the 0.3.0 patch explicitly added more Mei (and Iris) voice scenes.
How to read an official “Comment”
Each girl has a third-person Comment on the official site. The voice is not the girl’s. It is an observer who files notes about living situation, social temperature, and whether she has friends. Nia and Mei are both marked friendless. Ayame is “rather surrounded by friends” and “a bother.” Iris “wasn’t always” friendless. Story’s family, record, and previous friendships “will not be discussed.” Those gaps are story, not missing localization.
Binds and why the necks match
VN captures of Nia and Mei in uniform still show black collars. Everyone in this world wears a Bind that displays emotion and deceit. Story’s Mute status is the exception that proves the rule: she opted out of that broadcast. When you pick a protagonist, you are picking whose feelings will be visible — or whose refusal will be visible instead. More vocabulary lives on the Scenario page.
Skills, Iota, and why this hub sits next to cards
Nia’s select panel in store art shows Spectral Skill Infusion, Core Skill Expanded Iota Limit at level 03, and a row of General Skills. That is the same Iota Limit the Blueprint lab cares about. Characters are loadout-adjacent. After you pick a girl, skim card integration so a later Encounter does not surprise you.
Supporting names, not extra routes
Community wikis list Freya, Touko, Aria, Lynn, and Raine as other characters. Raine has had an official introduction post. None of them are advertised as a sixth playable perspective. Do not wait on a fake downloadable route.
Suggested first picks
- Want the nervous everyday entry? Nia.
- Want music-adjacent but anti-idol energy? Mei.
- Want the social painter who will call your lies? Ayame.
- Want the fight-first route? Iris.
- Want the silent reader with the ugliest secrets implied? Story.
Then go play the demo on MIN. Character lore does not unlock FBD.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for demo players and launch-week questions.
Do I unlock the five girls or pick them from the start?
The demo select screen already shows all five icons. Launch routing may still gate scenes; official copy says paths can be chosen freely.
Are they a multiplayer party?
No. In Falsus is single-player. You switch perspectives. See facts on platforms.
Where are voice actors listed?
On each character page and in the list above, matching the official site.
Should I read this hub or the Scenario guide first?
This hub for faces. The story guide for Binds, Shroud, and Mute vocabulary.
