In Falsus Guides

Demo-first tutorials for a keyboard-and-mouse rhythm game that also wants you to read.

Beginner Rhythm Guides Hub

This hub is the map for every how-to on the wiki. In Falsus is not a Roblox experience and it is not a live-service gacha with weekly gift codes. It is lowiro’s single-player PC title: a visual-novel Scenario wrapped around original mouse-and-keyboard rhythm charts, with a Card Integration layer that turns song clears into Iota and Blueprints.

If you just installed the Steam demo, do not open a random ULT chart. Walk the pages below in order. The getting started guide explains the first-hour loop. The controls page is the one most demo players actually needed. The demo walkthrough lists what is and is not in the preview build.

What this hub is for

Search traffic for a pre-launch rhythm game clusters around a few painful questions: how the six Floor keys plus mouse Field can be human, whether MIN is “real” content, how Iota cards change a chart, and how five protagonists share one story without spoiling each other. Each child page answers one of those questions with enough detail to play, not a slogan.

Use this hub when you need the whole picture. Use a child page when you are stuck on one mechanic. Cross-links at the bottom of each guide point to siblings so you do not have to return here after every paragraph.

  1. Getting started — install, audio, first MIN clear, what to ignore until launch.
  2. Mouse-keyboard controls — default Shift / A / S / D / F / Space, Flipped Gameplay, remaps, Field flicks.
  3. Steam demo walkthrough — songs, Scenario slices, and the 0.3.0 card preview.
  4. Iota card integration — Blueprints, five-card loadouts, card score versus accuracy score.
  5. Encounter song battles — why some charts are story fights, not free play.
  6. Scoring and judgement — the four timing grades and why combo bragging is the wrong target.
  7. Story and Scenario — five routes, Binds, the Shroud, spoiler-light structure.
  8. Settings and fixes — 0.2.1 audio, fonts, Results soft-locks.
  9. Arcaea versus In Falsus — if you are importing the wrong muscle memory.

The PC header shows at most eight guide links and then View all in Guides. After those, jump to the song list if you wanted numbers, or the character hub if you want a first protagonist.

Pain points these guides actually solve

Demo comments repeat the same injuries. Players with five fingers try to cover six Floor lanes. People map keys, then forget the mouse Field still needs a full sweep for flicks. Rhythm veterans skip MIN and eat ULT. Visual-novel readers mash through Encounters and miss that the song is the scene. Card-curious players slot Iota at random and assume the system is cosmetic.

The guides treat those as design problems, not skill issues. MIN exists so your left hand can sit still. Remapping exists because lowiro shipped a changeable layout on purpose. Cards exist to change how you approach a later Encounter, not to replace hitting notes. If a page disagrees with a streamer’s joke thumbnail, trust the in-game labels: MIN, EVO, ULT, FBD.

How this wiki stays honest before September 9

The full game launches on Steam on September 9, 2026. Anything written here about launch song count (over 70, over 40 original), Japanese voice acting, or five playable perspectives comes from lowiro’s store page and official site. Demo-only facts are labelled as demo. We do not invent judgement windows in milliseconds, FBD unlock rules that have not been published, or gift codes that this product does not use.

When a YouTube video is the best way to see a mechanic, the matching guide embeds one official clip in the middle of the article. We do not stack three trailers at the footer.

Difficulty names and a starter song order live under tier list. Hardware and bind experiments live under tools. Patch notes live under updates. Official store, Discord, and socials live under links.

If you only bookmark one URL besides this hub, make it getting started. Everything else is a specialization of that first hour.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers for demo players and launch-week questions.

I only have time for one guide. Which one?

Read getting started, then the controls page. Those two cover 80 percent of demo complaints.

Will these guides include full-game spoilers?

No. The Scenario page stays spoiler-light on purpose. Character pages quote official bios, not route endings.

Does In Falsus have redeem codes?

Not as a live-service loop. This is a premium Steam game. Ignore random code lists; use official links instead.

Where do song recommendations live?

In the beginner songs page and the difficulty explainer, not here.
